7.5 Tonne Drivers Required in Herefordshire over Christmas

Festive 7.5 Tonne Driver (Moreton on Lugg)

Are you looking for some driving work over the festive period?

Our client is a well established firm based in Herefordshire looking to take on two 7.5 tonne drivers to assist them over the festive period.

Your duties would include transporting pallets between the clients sites, on a 4 day on/off shift basis. You would be working between the hours of 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM 4 days in a week, followed by 4 days off.

The rates of pay are as follows:

Monday to Friday: £14.98 per hour

Saturday and Sunday: £16.98 per hour.

With the following shift pattern:

11:30 AM to 9:30 PM for four days, then four days off.

• Valid UK Cat C1 Driving License with no more than 6 points
• 30 days Commercial Driving Experience due to insurance purposes.
• Valid CPC Qualification card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good time keeping – deliver to the customer on time
• Driving standards to be excellent – we will train, and coach improved driving behaviours. We do not allow drivers to speed, park illegally etc.
• Basic Manual Handling
• Basic Literacy Skills
• Good communication skills
• Good understanding of H&S  
• Good national and regional geographical knowledge
• Operate legally within the legislation for both Tachograph and Working Time Directive  
• Correct loading of vehicles where applicable.  
• Follow Safe System of Work (Health and Safety)    
• Ensure paperwork is compiled and presented accurately in a presentable manner deliver to the customer using a handheld tablet
• Customer service experience polite and courteous
