A rapidly expanding business are seeking an accounts manager to join their friendly team. Taking responsibility for invoicing, ensuring payments happen on time and keeping accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Process payments and invoices, make and track payments
- Issue invoices to customers based on Business Development Team instructions
- Make sure that clients pay on time, credit control as required
- Manage a budget, meet deadlines, and achieve targets
- Provide accurate status reports of existing accounts and new clients.
- Use accounting systems, enforce policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyse customer’s usage of our product
- Responsible for working with the Business Development Team to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Liaise with Company Accountants and prepare information as required
The person
- Understanding invoicing and payments processes – Xero system experience advantageous
- Understanding of financial and non-financial performance measurement and analytics
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent time and project management skills. You’re always looking to improve inefficient processes
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
