Accounts Supervisor

Working as an Accounts Supervisor, you will be supporting the head of accounts with credit control functions within the team. You will have people experience, experience within accounts or a credit control position and supervisory experience. Based in Gloucester working Monday – Friday 08.00am – 17.00pm with a salary of up to £40,000 this is a fantastic opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervising a team and supporting a manager yourself.
• Manage client portfolios.
• Regular debt reviews.
• Training & development of the team, motivation, target setting, performance monitoring and recruitment.
• Resolving credit control issues and attending regular meetings with senior management.
• Addressing any compliance issues.
• Managing and maintaining customer record details
• Ensuring all customer payment terms are adhered to.
• Submitting bad debt provisions at each month end.

Skills and attributes:

• Tech savy – Strong IT skills.
• Supervisory experience is required along with credit control experience.
• People person.
• Excellent customer service.
• Looking to grow and develop.
• Ability to take control of workload.
