Assembly Operative

RE Recruitment are working in partnership with BorgWarner to recruit Assembly Operatives in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.

The role will include assembling and testing fuel injectors utilised in the engines of many of the major manufacturers of Large Goods vehicles.
Core duties will include: 
• Working by hand to assemble fuel injection units
• Operating Test Rigs and identifying non-conformities 
• Adapt to repetitive work with small parts
• Checking and testing finished products

Rates of Pay: Basic: £12.78/h + OT £14.25/h and Sunday OT £19.00/h.

Shifts: You must be able to access transport to fulfil 12-hour rotating shifts covering Days and Nights (7pm-7am, 7am-7pm).
The 4-shift pattern will require you to work as follows:
Week 1 = 4 Nights Mon – Thu (7pm-7am)
Week 2 = 3 Days Mon – Wed (7am-7pm) & 3 Nights Fri – Sun (7pm-7am)
Week 3 = 4 Days Thu – Sun (7am-7pm)
Week 4 = Week off

Previous experience in a factory environment is useful however full training will be provided.
