Assembly Operative

Cheltenham –  Day Shift (37 Hours Per week) 

RE Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an Assembly operative to join the team for our client based in Cheltenham.

Our client is a market leading manufacturer, with an excellent reputation for development opportunities, whilst working in an engaging environment.

The role is based within their electrical assembly lines where you work with an established team to assemble, test and pack their wide range of bathroom products.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manual assembly and use of basic tools
• Quality checking and testing of products to ensure suitability for market.
• Packing finished products accurately.
• Maintaining a clean work environment and following 5S standards to aid efficiency across the manufacturing plant
• Safely handling components and finished products in line with Manual Handling policies
• Using good initiative to identify problems and solve before they have an impact on the production team.
• Flexibility to assist your team in additional areas when workload requires.

Previous assembly experience is advantageous, full training will be provided. Ideal candidates will be capable of working at speed with high levels of accuracy. You will have a “can do” attitude and be able to adapt and assist using your own initiative.

Working schedule

Day Shift –   Monday to Thursday – 07.30 – 16.00, Friday 07.30 – 12.30

Pay rate –  10.58 – £11.67 (+OT at enhanced rates when available)

Pay frequency –  Weekly Pay
