Up-to £35,000 DOE + bonus

Permanent, Monday – Friday

Are you an accounts professional looking to eventually step up to a management accountant role long term?  

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Assistant Management accountant/management accountant to join a thriving business with clients spread across the UK and Europe. Reporting to the FC, the Assistant Management accountant will oversee weekly and monthly reporting and accounting activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior accounts assistant wanting to step up into a management accountant role longer term.

The role

• Weekly P&L report
• Weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and journals
• Handle invoicing for major contracts and support month-end processes
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Completing balance sheet reviews
• Cost centre analysis and reporting
• Additional reports as required

The person

• Proven experience within a similar finance or senior accounts assistant position.
• Ideally AAT Level 4 qualified, or part qualified accountant/studying towards qualifications.
• Someone who can work in a fast-paced environment and is highly accurate.
• Excellent attention to detail is a must.
• Intermediate Excel skills, proficient in V look ups etc
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge within a management accounting role is desirable, although training will be provided
