Transport Receptionist
Contract type: Temporary – Permanent
Salary: £12.00 Ph
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 0830am – 1700
Experience required: previous receptionist within a transport or car garage is desirable
Our client based in Herefordshire is looking for a transport receptionist with automotive knowledge (basic level)
Main duties:
To meet and greet clients, to take customer bookings, to allocate work to technicians’ dairy. Be responsible for general administration, to provide an effective and efficient administration and clerical support to colleagues.
Main responsibilities
• Meeting and greeting clients.
• Handling telephone queries.
• Allocating work on garage software to technicians and keeping customers up to date on the progress of the repairs.
• Ordering parts and allocating parts to technicians.
• Liaise with lease companies and keeping them up to date on progress of jobs.
• Dealing with clients in a polite and professional manner.
• Filling paperwork.
• General administration
• Receive and sort mail and deliveries.
• Management and input of Sage accounts.
• Ensuring sufficient levels of office stationery.
