We are looking for support workers to join our team in Shrewsbury supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

New to care?

We offer all the training you need to be able to deliver first-class, person-centred support. You don’t need to have experience, just have the right values, be positive about the difference you can make and be willing to learn.

What is a support worker?

A support worker is great at building relationships, kind, respectful, patient and engages with physical/recreational activities.

The working day is varied and could include a range of activities, from supporting someone to do their weekly shop to going swimming with them. You will be making a difference to someone’s life every day.

The most important qualities for a support worker to have; are kindness, patience, and compassion.

Most of our roles will include personal care and managing medication.

You will be joining the team in Shrewsbury supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism in their own homes.

We are looking for team players, someone who is a good communicator, flexible, a good listener, empathetic and has a good sense of humour.

The ideal Candidate:

• Right to work within the UK
• Five years referencing history preferable
• Experience preferable but is not essential as full training will be provided
• Be a good communicator
• Happy to assist with all personal care needs
• Motivated, honest, and approachable
• Flexible around shift and weekend work
