HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER

Our client, based in Pershore, are looking for a class 2 refuge driver to assist in the collection of domestic waste for ongoing, temp to perm work.

With the assistance of loaders, you will be required to drive vehicles, whether it be the countryside or narrow town roads. As you may encounter contact with the public you will have the correct manner to effectively communicate and assist with any public relations. You may be a newly qualified driver looking for an opportunity to gain experience within the transport sector. 

The client will provide you with a full induction and send you around with an experienced driver, to ensure that you grasp the role and have full support throughout the process. Although your key responsibility will be driving the refuse lorry, you will still be required to assist the loaders with the domestic waste collection. 

Shift pattern:

Monday – Friday

0600 – 1800 average finishing time dependant on the individual route

To be eligible for this role you will need:

• Full UK Cat C Class 2 driving licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 9 points (no DR/DD disqualifications)

Hourly rates:

• £12.00 – £14.50ph
