Sliding & Fixed Head Lathes

Gloucester – Permanent – Days – M-F – Up to £42,000 DOE

The Role: 

• CNC programming, CNC machining experience.
• Setting and operating a variety of CNC lathes, producing components to tight tolerances, whilst always maintaining high-quality.
• Interpretation and working from detailed technical drawings/specifications and customer samples.
• Experience working with engineering plastics would be beneficial but not essential

The Person:

• Experience setting/operating sliding head lathe & others.
• Other turning and milling experience – desirable
• Experience using HAAS, Fanuc and/or Citizen Mitsubishi controls – training given to the right candidate.
• Experience working too tight tolerances in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with first offs and Competency of using all forms or measuring equipment and gauging techniques.
