Commercial Gas engineer

Are you a Commercial Gas Engineer looking for a permanent opportunity? Are you looking to stay within the Herefordshire area? Do you have experience within Facilities Management? If you have a recognised commercial gas engineer and experience in plumbing and pipe fitting then this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for delivering planned and preventative gas maintenance, fault finding and repair. Working 37 hours Monday – Friday 8-4 + overtime and on call opportunities with a salary of Circa £43,000.

Skills and Attributes:

• A recognised commercial Gas qualification is essential for this role.
• Plumbing and pipe fitting experience.
• A full driving licence is essential for this role.
• HVAC & plumbing knowledge.
• Awareness of budgeting of parts and material usage.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Carry out to a high standard all aspects of inspection, service, repair, maintain and install commercial gas hot water and heating systems and appliances.
• Undertake a broad range of multi-skilled repair activities outside of the basic trade such as minor plumbing, electrical and finishing works to provide a comprehensive repair service.
• Carry out and reactive work as required in order to meet completion deadlines.
• Accurately, clearly and legibly record information required by the business.  This will include Gas Safety Records, warning notices and labels, any expenditure or materials used, time records and records required for safety or business administration.
