Compliance Officer

A fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join a leading manufacturer who have been operation for more than 130 years has become available based in Coleford. You’ll be reporting to the SSE manager and working within the SSE Department. Responsibilities/Duties;

• Assisting with the maintenance of LPCB certification
• Assisting with the maintenance of ISO 9001 and TS29001 certifications
• Assisting with the maintenance of ISO 14001 certification
• Lead data gathering for environmental submissions as required by statute
• Assisting with the maintenance of BS OSHAS 18001 certification
• Support continual improvement and X-Implementation initiatives
• Internal auditing as stated in the internal audit schedule / as required
• Non-conformance management as it applies to the Integrated Management System
• Supporting hazard identification and risk control activities

Candidate Attributes;

• Highly numerate with competent IT skills
• Risk management skills and experience
• Knowledge and practical application of ISO2/9001, ISO14001 and OSHAS 18001.
• A quality, environment or health and safety qualification would be desirable.
