Are you a credit controller seeking a new challenge? Are you wanting to work as part of a team? The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and minimizing bad debt risk. Working Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm with a salary of up to £25,000 in Gloucester with the option of hybrid working after probation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and escalate potential bad debt risks.
- Monitor credit limits and review credit terms, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Provide regular reports on aged debt, debtors’ days, and other key performance metrics.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure credit checks are carried out on new customers.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to improve the credit control function.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
