Are you a credit controller seeking a new challenge? Are you wanting to work as part of a team? The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control function, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts and minimizing bad debt risk. Working Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm with a salary of up to £25,000 in Gloucester with the option of hybrid working after probation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Proactively identify and escalate potential bad debt risks.
Monitor credit limits and review credit terms, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Provide regular reports on aged debt, debtors’ days, and other key performance metrics.
Investigate and resolve customer queries and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure credit checks are carried out on new customers.
Participate in cross-functional projects to improve the credit control function.
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
