We are currently recruiting to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Customer Service Manager to monitor and drive customer service levels whilst providing excellent communications through the business and to our clients customer base. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be based at the head office in Tewkesbury, alongside the core sales team. You will ensure a smooth and consistent service from production plant to customer.

Your role:

You will be responsible for driving service levels and making recommendations based on data and experiences, developing and implementing a robust reporting framework for key customer service performance indicators. You will effectively monitor and control customer orders ensuring accuracy of deliveries, sales and invoicing while updating and validating the customer database and pricing files. You will conduct root cause analysis of any customer complaints or concerns to make improvements and prevent reoccurrence.

In addition, you will provide strong leadership, guidance and support to our sales team, building rapport with our customers and working alongside the commercial and marketing departments to promote our products and services.

You will need:

Proven experience as a professional Customer Service Manager or Team Leader, with the ability to engage and motivate your team.

You will adopt a proactive approach and remain positive, with creative solutions to any adversities.

Planning and organisation skills are necessary – as is a strong understanding of systems and IT – as we modernise the company over the next few years with better infrastructure, you will play a key role in this process.

You will be trustworthy and show a high degree of self-motivation.
