Solar CAD Designer

Fulltime (Early finish Friday) – Staverton – Permanent – £30,000

A leading national electrical and solar company are looking for a Solar PV CAD Designer to join their rapidly growing team as they expand their offering across the UK.

The Role:

• Reviewing documentation from clients including tender packs, understanding and interpreting their needs.
• Analysing energy reports against site plans
• Collating documentation for a design pack
• Creating site plans, detailing Solar PV locations
• Completing CAD designs
• Support with administrative tasks
• Support the preparation and updating of documentation

The Person:

• AutoCAD experience – Essential
• PVSol, VDV planner and Solar experience – Desirable
•  Strong IT skills (including Excel)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Excellent communicator, working across teams and external
•  Attention to detail, working under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Positive attitude, able to adapt to change
