An excellent opportunity to work for a well-established and successful company in a rural location as a full time Digital Printer.

About my client : They are a leading and innovative British trade manufacturer of a wide range of corporate and promotional merchandise and beautiful gifts. They design, manufacture, print and finish all of the products we sell on site, with many unique products made from sustainable materials. Based in rural Herefordshire we employ over 50 people in a team that has won many industry awards for our products and services.

Role:

• Operating digital print machines including wide format and flat bed printers.
• Ensuring that print production is completed to the specified timescales and quality standards.
• Preparing artwork for print.
• Opportunities for career progression.

Candidate:

The candidate must have some previous digital print experience, along with good computer skills, enthusiasm and aptitude.

• Must have previous digital print experience.
• Must have good IT skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A good eye for colour                                                                                                         
• Well-organised
• Able to work in a fast paced production printing environment
• Experience in graphic software (Adobe Illustrator and In Design) would be a distinct advantage

Position: Digital Printer

Salary: Negotiable – depending on experience.

Full time hours: 39.5 hour week.  Factory hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4.30pm Friday, overtime paid at a premium rate, with morning and afternoon drinks breaks and a half hour for lunch. Annual holiday is 30 days including bank holidays (bank holidays normally account for 8 days). An annual factory shutdown at Christmas accounts for 3-4 days
