Trade Compliance Officer – IMMEDIATE START
-Coleford
-8am-4pm Monday-Friday (Early Finish Friday)
-Competitive Salary (Temp to Perm)

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Offer/Export Co-ordinator to join a Customs and Trade Compliance Team for a leading company based in Coleford.

This is currently being advertised as a temp to perm position at 37 hours a week.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor export forward order book
• To maintain correct documentation for compliance (e.g. Country of Origin)
• Information validation and audit preparation
• Ensure customer screening is completed to company standards
• Provide suppliers and customers with end user and product classification declarations when requested
• Identify and escalate any compliance issues or areas of concern
• Communication with internal teams, customers and suppliers

The ideal applicant will have:

• Knowledge and experience of imports and exports.
• Understanding of current export controls and custom procedures
• Working with an ERP system
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to adapt as procedures change
• Confident communicator, internally and externally
• Efficient time management and ability working with deadlines
