Export Coordinator- Gloucester
Full time – Days- Up to £30,000- M-F
Due to a recent expansion, my client is looking for an export coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring timely loading and dispatch, supporting the logistics and export team. Industry or shipping experience is essential, as you will be quoting and booking with various couriers and shipping lines, focussing on imports and exports.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving operations.
- Prepare timely delivery notes, packing lists, invoices, and export/shipping documentation, including data entry and documentation.
- Relationship building with stakeholders and partners – monitor performance. Issue customs instructions etc.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to schedule shipments and resolve any issues.
- Support audits of export and customs processes.
- Track and monitor shipment status and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Create AWB’s
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Keep abreast of changes in HMRC and international compliance regulations.
Person
- Experience working with an ERP system.
- Knowledge of incoterms.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and numeracy skills.
- Quality awareness, Continuous improvement focussed.
- IT literate – Microsoft 365.
