Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a facilities co-ordinator to join a leading, national manufacturer.
Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Facility Management Plan and associated department budgets in support of the Company’s business plans.
Responsible for the development and implementation of theFacilities Management Systems and the generation of Standards, Policies, Procedures and KPI’s.
Accountablefor thecompletion of all inspections, audits, permits and certification and for ensuring equipment, systems and processes are maintained in accordance with the Company’s Standards, Statutory and Legislative requirements.
Responsible and accountable for identifying, selecting, and managing service & contract providers.
Identification and preparation of capital expenditure requests with financial justifications to support growing demand or cost reduction opportunities.
Responsible for department and Contractor HSE, productivity, competencies, behaviour, quality, timeliness, and absences.
Previous experience of Facilities Management, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Self-starter, comfortable working on your own initiative.
Excellent communicator, positive, enthusiastic and results driven.
Work collaboratively to engage, facilitate, and lead Continuous Improvement activities.
Recognised Technical or FM qualification, such as HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Services / Electrical Engineering.
Sound knowledge of Statutory and Mandatory Compliance with experience of preparing for external audits
Experience of managing specialist contractors.
IOSH Managing safely.
