Facilities Co-ordinator

Full-time, Permanent – Competitive Salary DOE

Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a facilities co-ordinator to join a leading, national manufacturer.

The Role:

• Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Facility Management Plan and associated department budgets in support of the Company’s business plans.
• Responsible for the development and implementation of theFacilities Management Systems and the generation of Standards, Policies, Procedures and KPI’s.
• Accountablefor thecompletion of all inspections, audits, permits and certification and for ensuring equipment, systems and processes are maintained in accordance with the Company’s Standards, Statutory and Legislative requirements.
• Responsible and accountable for identifying, selecting, and managing service & contract providers.
• Identification and preparation of capital expenditure requests with financial justifications to support growing demand or cost reduction opportunities.
• Responsible for department and Contractor HSE, productivity, competencies, behaviour, quality, timeliness, and absences.

The Person:

• Previous experience of Facilities Management, ideally in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Self-starter, comfortable working on your own initiative.
• Excellent communicator, positive, enthusiastic and results driven.
• Work collaboratively to engage, facilitate, and lead Continuous Improvement activities.
• Recognised Technical or FM qualification, such as HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Services / Electrical Engineering.
• Sound knowledge of Statutory and Mandatory Compliance with experience of preparing for external audits
• Experience of managing specialist contractors.

• IOSH Managing safely.
