R E Recruitment are proud to represent our client in the search for a reliable Financial Controller, for this new and exciting high end establishment. 

THE ROLE:

• Cash flow forecasting for funding facility 
• Overseeing company accounts
• Managing all aspects of Payroll and invoicing
• Building strong relationships with the Board members, internal stakeholders and external advisers.
• Monthly and annual management accounts and operational reporting 
• Implementing meaningful KPIs for monthly reporting and analysing financial results
• Contributing to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging figures and providing financial analysis of business results and targets
• Reviewing and maintaining internal processes and procedures
• Supporting the operational team with adhoc queries around processing transactions on the till system and cash discrepancies
• Establishing and implementing financial reporting system
• Developing budgets and financial planning
• Ensuring the companies compliance with laws and regulations
• Develop current procedures & processes to ensure complete accuracy

This a hands on role, taking control of all of the finances and forecasting the budget. 

THE PERSON:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial controller role- hospitality advantageous 
• CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified 
• A critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and creative
• Analytical and excellent report writing skills
• Strong communication skills
• Cash flow management experience 
• Solid IT literacy – strong excel skills, Sage 50 would be advantageous.

 Strong and up to date knowledge of tax and HMRC regulations would be advantageous.

• Excellent time management
• Understanding of data privacy standards
• Property management experience
