Food Production Operative

Our client based in Hereford is looking for food production operatives to work for them on a temporary to permanent basis.

The role involves working as a production operative in a fast-paced, dynamic factory, ensuring hygiene standards in short life shelf products. Duties include weighing, assembling, packing, labelling, and grading products, as well as manual handling, including lifting equipment up to 20kg. Candidates should have good English and basic numeracy skills, work well within a team, have attention to detail, and be flexible. Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is not essential, as full training will be provided.

• 40 hours per week
• Basic rate £11.44 per hour plus shift allowance of £0.42 per hour
• Weekly payments
• Overtime available (£17.16 per hour)
• Rotational shifts pattern: 05:00-14:00 / 14:00- 23:00 (including one hour of unpaid break) Monday – Friday
