I am currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer to support in business development and help with the sales processes and procedures.

The successful candidate will be required to travel within the UK and overseas, within a limited frequency. 

Responsibilities include: 

• Understanding key qualification standards for the industry and communicating these to the business.
• Support and develop the sales processes, procedures and documentation to help with quality and CI.
• Supporting Business Development to deliver new opportunities including :
  • Supporting tendering to produce proposals
  • Assessing risks to attain relevant approvals.
  • Leading the tender process, including liaising with technical and commercial leads in the business.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key contacts at existing and new customers and attend meetings with clients globally as required.
  • Supporting qualification of products at EPC and operator level as required.
  • Supporting hand over all successful bids to Projects Department and support operations as required post-handover and for project close out.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience or passion to go into technical sales 
• Degree educated within STEM subject or relative field – desirable
• Passion and knowledge within current sector
• Willingness to learn
• Very customer focussed 
• Able to drive and travel abroad – Visit Gloucester once a month 
• Able to work from home

This is a full-time permanent position contracted to 37.5 hours per week working 08:00-16:45 Monday – Thursday and 08:00-12:30 on Fridays.
