My client, an industry leader in manufacturing solutions for a wide range of applications within Aerospace and Defence sectors, are looking for a Group Quality Manager to form a key, strategic element of the UK management team.

You would be responsible for leading the quality departments, driving continuous improvement, Compliance, and continuing development of the QMS. Reporting directly to the UK MD.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the organisational Quality Management System (AS9100)
• Leading FAIR/PPAP activities across both sites.
• Effective Management of internal and external audits, Inspection, Metrology & Calibration
• Management of Non-Conformance and Root Cause investigations.
• Collating, analysis, and presentation of KPI data for the quality function and wider business
• Managing external Customers quality related concerns and co-ordinating directly with the concerned customer
• Managing direct reports.

Person:

• Al least 4 years relevant experience of managing an AS9100 QMS
• Proven success in developing processes and people in a Quality Focused Environment
• Previous experience operating within an AS9110 and /or NAPCAD Environment
• Ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Conversant in Italian – Desirable
• Experience in surface treatment – Desirable
