Hatcheries Electrician– Permanent

Salary: £33,100 + £2,000 On Duty Allowance, Hourly pay rate: £15.41

Monday to Friday 06:00 to 15:30 –  1 in 5 weekend callout cover, Onsite

1 week in 3 – Monday to Friday 5:30-15:30

Location: Quainton, parking on site

As an electrician you will be involved in the day-to-day maintenance of themachinery and equipment

The Role:

• Complete PPM Checks.
• Working alongside contractors.
• Attending to breakdowns.
• Fault finding and rectification.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs of machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring health & safety standards are followed and always maintained.
• Monitoring and keeping stocks of mechanical and electrical spares.
• Conducting improvement projects as agreed with Manager.
• Assisting the Hatchery team in the production process as and when required.

The Person:

• Qualified in 18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations
• Experience of single and three phase supplies
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance, PLCs, automated controls, and safety compliance would be an advantage.
• Flexible approach to working hours and a good understanding of health & safety.
