Our client, a leading electrical contractor for new build homes nationally, is looking to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic Health & Safety Manager to their ever-growing family. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with NEBOSH certification and experience in adhering to RAMS, to join the business on a full-time, permanent basis.

What are your responsibilities?

• Line management of four regional advisors (remotely located).
• Driving a positive health and safety culture throughout the company from HQ in Gloucester and across the network of 21 regional branches.
• Assisting, advising, and coaching operational managers to ensure they can achieve the efficient and effective delivery of the business objectives safely.
• Conducting incident investigations to identify root cause and making recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
• Auditing and reporting on health and safety performance.
• Constantly assessing opportunities for health and safety improvements and sharing best practice across the organisation.

What are we looking for?

• Proven experience in a similar health and safety role, with an excellent understanding of the construction/electrical industry.
• Proven track record of delivering companywide improvement projects.
• NEBOSH / NCRQ Diploma or NVQ5 (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• A strong technical knowledge across relevant health and safety legislation, compliance, and regulations.
