A fantastic opportunity has become available for generalist HR Officer/Advisor to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing business. This is a varied, ‘hands-on’ role spearheading the overall HR operations and the delivery of strategic objectives across the business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join an exceptional business with very exciting growth potential.

Your Responsibilities:

• Implement new HR onboarding and recruitment proceedings
• Monitoring and overseeing sickness and absence.
• Continue to develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance
• Maintain all personnel records and ensure personnel files are up to date and secure.
• Undertake a regular review of legal employment obligations & advise on statutory rights etc.
• Manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.

Who are we looking for?

• HR Officer experience gained from a similar HR role.
• CIPD Level 5 Certification
• Exceptional organisational and communication skills together with proven leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
• Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in developing and supporting line managers through change.
• An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.
• Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.
