Infrastructure Analyst

A new role which will provide additional support to the companies IT Infrastructure, ensuring that we have the necessary cover and skills to manage and improve our IT infrastructure and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and implement changes to improve IT security within the configuration and operation of our IT systems. Initially implementing required changes identify during the annual Vulnerability and Penetration testing.
• Diagnose System Problems: Routinely performing monitoring and analysis of IT Infrastructure including networks, servers, operating systems, applications, and network connected devices.
• Working with the rest of the IT Team to design solutions and implement infrastructure improvements, resolving problems at hand and mitigating future issues.
• Helping the business get the best out of its IT systems, working across the business to understand requirements and to deliver the best solution in each case as required; helping to implement a culture of continuous improvement for the IT infrastructure.
• Update and maintain technical documents related to IT infrastructure.
• Assist colleagues in the wider IT team in dealing with peaks in workload, within the IT service/support area where necessary.

Experience:

• Required Skills:
  Windows Server,
  VMware,
  Networking,
  Office 365.
• Good working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
