The Role:
- Support and coach the hiring manager throughout the entire recruitment process providing an effective candidate experience
- Establish a detailed understanding of the headcount establishment via the HR & Operational team
- Ensure the most cost effective and efficient utilisation of the recruitment budget and demonstrate year on year ROI
- Support the on-boarding process, including eligibility to work, contract requests, induction planning and delivery
where applicable and ensure GDPR compliance
- Ensuring direct recruitment is the primary object utilising all recruitment media and tools, with support from agencies partners on our PSL where this increases the delivery of quality candidates
- Conduct initial screening and telephone interviewing, conduct face to face interviewing with the hiring manager and provide feedback/offers to candidates
- Review, prepare and maintain recruitment relating communications to support consistency and employer brand
- Support Agency Controller to liaise with the specified temporary agency labour provider and manage the transfer of temporary staff to permanent contracts within our 12-week model
- Conduct initial agency labour audits to meet customer and legislative requirements and ensure any non-conformances issues are closed out
- Organise and attend local recruitment fairs to promote opportunities
- Build talent pools for frequent vacancies to develop internal succession and talent development
- Ensure all processes are maintained and followed with our ATS, and to keep up to date with all system updates
- Make recommendations to the Resourcing Manager on the use of new recruitment and selection strategies
- Coordinate and deliver apprentice/degree apprentice assessment centres and Lead on salaried recruitment as required
The Successful Candidate
- Previous experience in high volume recruitment or working within an agency
- Confident communication and negotiation skills
- Strong time management skills
- Able to form strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Motivated and driven
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft packages word/excel/PowerPoint
- Flexible approach to working hours to support a 24/7 working environment
