Full Time – Monday – Friday

£22,000- £25,000 (Package circa £29k including bonuses)

Due to growth a global business are looking to take on a IT Support Officer to work in the IT systems and development team. You will be at the frontline of their business for IT Support, networks and security. This is an excellent opportunity for a computer science graduate or individual with an interest in programming to embark on their IT career and learn off senior colleagues.

Responsibilities

•  Providing 1st line, desk side and remote IT support to all users.
• Escalating IT issues to more senior members of the IT team where appropriate.
• Support the IT Support Engineer with all aspects of the (hosted voice) telecoms provision to the organisation.
• Undertaking the maintenance and performance of existing systems as directed; supporting the Network Administrator as required.
• Supporting and backing up of IT systems; assisting in the maintenance of core infrastructure
• Supporting the development team using programming skills in HTML, CSS, ASP, .net, JavaScript, AJAX, W3C, and MS SQL.

The Person        

• Ideally hold a degree or relevant qualification in computer science, cyber security, programming or other IT related subject
• Ideally hold an interest in programming
• Excellent MS Office skills including Excel
• Willing to learn about Windows Servers, Azure, VM Ware, and Net APP.
• Willing to assist the Network Administrator and Third-Party Vendors with maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
• Excellent team working skills
•  Keen interest in learning more about IT and developing a career in IT
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Flexible and adaptable with a proactive and positive attitude
• Professional, polite, courteous manner
