Machine Operator

RE Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for Machine Operators to join our client based in Stonehouse.

Due to a period of sustained growth, we are seeking new talent to join our client’s experienced production team in the manufacture and development of their product range.

Successful applicants will be flexible and be able to adapt to the variety of roles within their area.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Operating & minding machines
• Assembly of componentry
• Some repetitive work with small parts
• Checking and testing finished products
• Having a high attention to detail
• The ability to work under pressure to hit targets
• Adherence to health & safety policies

Hours:              Basic hours: 40 hours per week (3 shift rotation)

PAY:                 Starting pay rate: £11.46/h Basic           (Saturday OT £14.25/h and Sunday OT £19.00/h)

Due to the location, applicants must be able to access transport to fulfil the following 8-hour rotating shift pattern covering Nights, Afternoons and Mornings (10pm-6am, 2pm-10pm and 6am-2pm).

The shift pattern will require you to work as follows:

• Week 1 = 5 Nights Sun – Thu (10pm-6am)
• Week 2 = 5 Nights Sun – Thu (10pm-6am)
• Week 3 = 5 Days Mon – Fri (2pm-10pm)
• Week 4 = 5 Days Mon – Fri (2pm-10pm)
• Week 5 = 5 Days Mon – Fri (6am-2pm)
• Week 6 = 5 Days Mon – Fri (6am-2pm)

Previous experience in a factory environment is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
