Maintenance Operator
Gloucester
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm Friday 8am to 2pm
£12 – £13 per hour
The role of the Maintenance Operator is a generalist role, supporting the maintenance, improvement and upkeep of site buildings, grounds, and equipment. Working within the maintenance team to provide a proactive approach to maintaining all facilities, services and systems to support the operational readiness of the Company in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards, policy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- To work as part of the maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient production performance is delivered within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment framework
- Perform detailed preventive and corrective maintenance activities in accordance with schedules
- Fault diagnosis and rectification on all plant and equipment within the manufacturing facility
- Support the periodic maintenance schedule as directed – ensuring machinery, systems and facilities and compliant and maintained within regulatory requirements and escalating any issues as needed to the line manager
- Manage time and conflicting priorities to ensure work is completed to time
