Due to growth, my client is recruiting a Merchandiser to join their dynamic sporting, fashion company in Manchester. You will ideally have 2+ years experience in a merchandising environment and trading experience. Offering a salary £28,000 – £35,000 plus fantastic benefits detailed below. 

THE ROLE:

• Collaborate with the Product team and Business Directors on range planning advising of SKU counts, budget roll ups, margins etc
• Contribute to trading meetings with budget updates, sales data and any concerns around best and worst sellers
• Analysing sales trends across allocated partner accounts
• Work with the e-commerce team on stock availability for marketing emails, social media campaigns, planned events and ad hoc events
• Own the product set up process for new lines entering the business across internal systems
• Liaise with Finance and suppliers, create PO’s 
• Manages key WSSI data 
• Suggests markdowns in line with the budget
• Managing any OTB budget

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• 2+ years’ experience within a merchandising environment
• Experience of trading a range of products through the buying cycle – desirable 
• Strong organisational and time management skills 
• Ability to own the accounts assigned 
• Flexible working schedule but weekends and overnights will be required at times
• Prepared to spend time on-the-road at key event times
