Merchandiser

Due to growth, my client is recruiting an experienced Merchandiser to join their dynamic and vibrant sporting, fashion company in Manchester. You will have 2+ years merchandising experience and ideally trading and planning experinece.

THE ROLE:

• Collaborate with the Product team and Business Directors on range planning advising of SKU counts, budget roll ups, margins etc
• Contribute to trading meetings with budget updates, sales data and any concerns around best and worst sellers
• Analysing sales trends across allocated partner accounts
• Work with the e-commerce team on stock availability for marketing emails, social media campaigns, planned events and ad hoc events
• Own the product set up process for new lines entering the business across internal systems
• Liaise with Finance and suppliers in the creation of PO’s
• Maintaining the delivery schedules and advise of any amends
• Manages key WSSI data
• Ensure that the buy matches the plan
• Suggests markdowns in line with the budget
• Managing any OTB budget

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• 2+ years’ experience in a merchandising role 
• Planning experience 
• Experience of trading a range of products through the buying cycle – desirable
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good knowledge of Excel
