Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Gloucester –Permanent – Shift 4on4off (Days & nights) £50,000 including Shift allowance   

Are you a multi-skilledmaintenance engineer with an electrical bias, looking to join a thriving manufacturing team? This is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance engineer with practical experience in a manufacturing environment.

The role:

• Deliver effective and efficient maintenance, ensuring continued operations 24/7.
• Supporting site operations, carrying out wide range of electrical and instrumentation activities.
• Ensure reactive and routine maintenance is completed to support plant critical systems and equipment.
• Ensuring equipment performance and reliability.
• Complete First line fault finding and diagnostics.
• Support of Operations Improvement and Transformation projects.

The Person:

• Experience of the practical aspects of maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Successful completion of an Electrical/Instrumentation Apprenticeship; or NVQ Level 3 or a National Certificate in an Electrical/Instrumentation discipline or equivalent.
• Work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience planning, prioritising and scheduling your work in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with Computer Based Maintenance Planning systems.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering – Desirable
• PLC experience desirable particularly on Siemens systems – Desirable
