New Business Development Executive
– Tewkesbury
– Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm
– up to £23,500 per annum + comission
The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and generating new sales leads to support the Sales teams. You will be highly motivated, with a drive to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources such as telesales, marketing leads, prospect lists, and individual research.
Main Duties include:
- Work with sales managers to develop and grow a sales pipeline that enables monthly sales targets to be hit in line with target product split.
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects, Book appointments with key contacts for the sales team.
- Support sales team to improve performance, control, and maintenance of their leads.
- Use of CRM, ensuring all communications with potential clients are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached.
- Call out campaigns to suit the Business Needs
- To cold call and canvass from agreed sales lists.
- To keep the sales activities up-to-date through contact lists
- To cross-sell where appropriate, distribute sales leads and share information.
- To ensure that effective communication channels remain open between yourself and the rest of the team.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- IT & Office 365 proficiency
- Ability to use CRM
- Proactive and customer-centric mindset
- Open Approach and attitude to Cold Calling scripted and unscripted
- Experience of the phones and outbound calls is essential
- Sales knowledge
- Confident and assertive with a polite telephone manner
- Strive for success
- Can work from own initiative but see you are part of the bigger picture
