My client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical products for a range of industries are looking for a Organisation Development Manager to join their established and experienced team.
The Organisation Development Manager role is to work closely with the executive team, to deploy and manage the people strategy for the business and building this into a strong talent management process across the business. Most of the role will be identifying gaps in the business and developing & managing a development training program to deliver those improvements.
The Responsibilities:
- Align the People Development strategy to the business strategy, culture, and values.
- Develop a talent management strategy that identifies talent in the current workforce and provides a gap analysis for current and future needs.
- Lead on the ‘Good to Great’ development work designed to set leadership behaviours across all tiers of the organization.
- To work collaboratively to support the development of career pathways, academic progression, promotion and career development processes and frameworks for key roles and team structures to support the delivery of the ‘Good to Great’ development work stream.
- Analyse, design, deliver, and manage a leadership learning programme which should aid in organizational development and change.
- Support the alignment of the current apprenticeship & Graduate programmes to the wider talent management programme.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships to understand key objectives and identify programmes to address needs.
- Provide effective coaching and mentoring to line managers to embed ways of working.
The candidate:
- Change Management Experience
- Experience of presenting to and facilitating groups of different sizes and all levels of the Company
- Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or commercial environments
- Familiarity with various training methods and techniques
- Good Project management skills, to work across cross functional teams and deliver process improvements.
- Highly skilled in PowerPoint & Excel
- Excellent leadership skills and presentation skills
- Capable of working within team environments.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong Communication skills, written and verbal.
- Good Time Management skills.
- Open minded to others opinion and critique.
- Desire to achieve quality and right first time.
Education and Qualification(s)
- Degree qualified desirable but not essential
- Relevant HR or OD qualification with demonstrable experience of current and innovative organisation development competency frameworks, best practices, and tools
