Principal Objectives:
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our HR team to manage the end-to-end Payroll function and adhoc HR focussed tasks, supporting circa 300 employees. This small and dynamic team has lots of opportunities for continuous improvement and would suit someone solution focussed.
Responsibilities will include but are not subject to:
·Collecting timesheet data from managers to facilitate payment of circa 300 employees
·Reconciliation of payroll data within Sage, explaining weekly variances, overtime reporting
·Inputting hours and deductions to Sage, processing starters and leavers, completing RTI submissions, calculating SSP, SPP, SMP, processing BACS payments, emailing out payslips
·Pensions reporting, uploading pensions in to NEST
·Managing and resolving Payment queries, feedbacking to managers on any issues with timesheets/processing payroll
·Control account reconciliations, Payroll associated journals in Sage accounts
·Keeping Sirrom absence management system up-to-date with new starter information, salary data and skill levels
·Manage reporting on Holidays, project manage the pilot, testing and launching of online holiday booking system, holiday reconciliation between Sage and Sirrom
·Support HR team with adhoc tasks, including drafting salary increase letters, processing change of circumstance forms
·Monitoring and reporting on all sickness and Long-Term Sickness, providing correct information to management teams
Key Attributes, Knowledge & Skills
·Experience operating in a similar role utilising Sage Payroll, Sage Accounts, NEST
·Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, including Excel
·Excellent written and verbal communication
·Excellent Attention to Detail and Data Analysis skills
