Plant Fitter – Immediate Start

• Ascot, Berkshire
• Competetive Salary
• 8-5pm – Monday to Friday 

A leading business within the refuse industry are looking to welcome an experienced and enthusiastic plant fitter to their team in Ascot. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business during a pivotal point of growth, on a permanent, full-time basis. You would be contributing to their plans to create a more sustainable future by drastically reducing landfill contribution.

What would you be doing?

• Test, maintain and service plant and power tools.
• Site visits to repair equipment.
• May have to deliver / collect equipment if required.
• Liaising with staff members, customers and suppliers.
• Maintain the workshop test and ancillary equipment.
• Maintain the appearance of the hire fleet with bodywork repairs & painting including updating the fleet numbers.
• Keep the workshop and plant yard clean & tidy at all times.
• Show and apply competence to comply with all ISOs.
• Any other ad hoc duties as requested by Manager

What about you? The ideal Candidate:

• Full driving licence required. 
• Experience in plant engineering/ fitting/ testing as above and small power tools.
• Ability to learn about new products and understanding them to good level and be aware of competitor information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer Literate.
• High regard to Health & Safety and following safe procedures. 
• Analytical in problem solving.
• Skilled in electrical diagnosis and fault finding
