Permanent – Full-Time Monday-Friday 37.5 hours

Hereford – Competitive Salary

The role:

• Set up machinery to produce finished products to the desired specification such as fill level, torque etc. Adjust to maximise output
• Make sure machines are safe to operate, guards are in place etc.
• Assist in ensuring that the condition of the machines meet cleanliness / hygiene standards.
• Operate machines to maximise output whilst maintaining quality standards.
• Support the Supervisors by helping show Production Operatives how to operate equipment effectively and safely.
• Report and machine issues / problems to the Machine Technician.
• Record any production / setting speeds and values.
• General production duties when not utilised in primary role.
• To observe Health and Safety regulations and to report any inappropriate actions or dangerous situations. Comply to company procedures.
• General housekeeping duties.
• To undertake any other duties the Senior Management Team may require.

The Person:

• Hardworking, Motivated.
• Physically fit.
• Flexible working hours.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Mechanical background would be advantageous.
