About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Engineer to support the smooth execution of projects both in-house and off-site. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery from sales handover through the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project scope and technical documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Verify client and supplier drawings and technical specifications.
- Obtain quotations for products and services.
- Raise manufacturing requests for in-house materials, tools, and equipment.
- Place orders for products and services using the company’s financial systems.
- Oversee in-house engineering design for mould tooling, providing project approval.
- Monitor and expedite the delivery of in-house and supplier-provided items.
- Arrange and coordinate logistics, working with the company’s transportation subcontractors.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and legislative procedures.
- Maintain adherence to quality, health & safety, and environmental standards.
Site Responsibilities:
- Coordinate field personnel for site works and prepare site handover packs.
- Assist the Senior Project Manager with detailed site scheduling.
- Monitor and support site activities, liaising daily with Site Managers and Supervisors.
- Collect and review all necessary site paperwork.
- Compile and submit Manufacturing Record Books detailing completed site activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong experience in coordinating both in-house and off-site projects.
- Background in purchasing, logistics, and expediting.
- Clear and effective communicator with excellent presentation skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage tasks through to completion.
- Able to prioritize workload based on project needs and deadlines.
- Confident in working under pressure and adaptable to changing project demands.
- Proficient in using various IT systems.

This is a full-time, permanent role contracted for 37.5 hours per week:
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00-16:45
- Friday: 08:00-12:30
