Quality Operative

Working as a Production Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for any quality issues and implementing system improvements, working with the operations teams to make recommendations to improve efficiency and deliver on product quality within Gloucester. Working Monday – Thursday 08.00am – 4.30pm and an early finish Friday off 2pm with a salay off £26,460 this is an excellent opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To provide technical support to all streams within the business.
• Advise staff regarding quality issues or test fails and enlisting technical support from suppliers or assigned managers with relevant technical knowledge.
• Engage and promote continuous improvement activities to effectively support Operator Inspector capabilities.
• To support internal and external quality audits.

Skills and Attributes:

• Familiarisation with quality systems including, ISO 9001/AS9100.
• Technical and quality standards knowledge preferably within an Aerospace & Defence environment or some other similar technical/quality critical industrial sector.
• Ability to use a wide range of measuring equipment i.e micrometres, elecometers.
• Ability to manage systems & processes to support the technical side of the department.
• Good communication skills via phone, email and face to face with internal and external.
