Internal Sales Coordinator – Engineering
£30,000 +bonus

An exciting opportunity for an internal sales coordinator/proposals lead has arisen within a global award-winning engineering business.
You will play a pivotal part within the sales and proposals team proactively generating sales leads for key accounts and clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Being the first point of contact for clients dealing with enquiries from sales and business development leads
- Supporting business development managers in achieving successful sales outcomes
- Establishing clients requirements
- Developing quotes and written proposals based on the scope of works tailored to the needs of the client
- Assisting any other sales activities associated with bids / proposals
- Keeping up to date with market trends, key clients and projects
- Managing all key information via a CRM and reporting
- Supporting all sales activities associated with bids, quotations and purchase orders,
Ideally, we are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Proven experience of dealing with engineering customer enquiries
- Excellent communicator with ability to build relationships
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Highly organised with ability to multi-task and manage multiple concurrent proposals
- Educated to degree level (BEng or BSc)
- Experience of using CAD packages (e.g. SolidWorks) is advantageous
- Eagerness to learn, or an existing understanding, about the markets in which we operate,
- Understanding why accurate and timely reporting is a necessity
