Sales Ledger Clerk

Do you have proven Sales Ledger experience?

My client based in Evesham are seeking to recruit a Sales Ledger Administrator to join their finance team. You will already have previous experience within sales ledger and have excellent organisation and computer literacy skills. You will ideally hold an AAT, and previous experience of ERP. Offering a superb salary of up to £28,000 working Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 + benefits.

The roles and responsibilities of a Sales Ledger:

  • Setting up new customers including credit checks. 
  • Ensuring all sales invoicing is kept up to date.
  • Reconciliation of bank statements daily.
  • Generating customer statements and reminders. 
  • Chasing up outstanding debts.
  • Processing customer credits.
  • Ensuring the sales ledger function is up to date and outstanding debts are at a minimum.

Key Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience of using an ERP.
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously.
  • At least 2 to 3 years within Sales Ledger.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
