Senior Patient Coordinator

Are you someone who’s friendly, has good customer experience, empathetic and a quick learner? Are you looking to join a growing and established team? Based in Clifton, Bristol you will be working as a Senior Patient Coordinator where you will support the Reception Manager to ensure the smooth running of the reception. You will cover shift patterns between 7.45am and 7.30pm. At present the surgery is open every 1 in 4 Saturdays. Reception staffing is required in the morning which is done on a rota basis and paid at time and a half. You will be working 37.5 hours per week paid at £12ph increasing after probation and a years’ service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide cover to reception manager in their absence.
• Assisting patients with general enquiries.
• Administrative duties.
• Direct calls from patients and those visiting the surgery to ensure they receive the best service they can.
• Act as a central point of communication with other members of the Practice team.

Skills and Attributes:

• Ability to lead a team when required.
• Clear communication skills via phone and email.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• IT Skills.
• Organised.
• Ability to work different shifts.
