The Role

As a Service & Prep Operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team to help ensure that all projects and equipment are prepared, presented and maintained to high standard and fit for use before and after any projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Working alongside various internal departments (account and production managers, warehouse, fabrication, hire) to ensure projects are being prepared in a timely manner.
• Preparing assets for out-bound projects, to include cleaning, servicing, repairs and test builds.
• De-prepping assets from in-bound projects, checking components and cleaning and maintaining where required, working with the fabrication team for any major repairs.
• Loading and unloading vehicles from vans to articulated lorries.
• Ensuring a high standard of work at all times.
• Helping when needed to cover onsite installation & workshop construction.
• Keeping the warehouse, service areas, and yard clean & tidy and maintaining a safe working environment.
• General housekeeping duties within the warehouse.
• Ability to work on own initiative and also as a key team member
• Exceptional attention to detail
• A ’can do’ attitude and excellent communication skills
• Confident IT skills (Google suite and Current RMS use preferable)
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and organise workload
• Reliability and dependability
• Flexible and willing take on a variety of tasks
• Full driving licence
• Electrical knowledge and/or willingness to upskill
• Plant tickets – Forklift, picker, telehandler
• Any industry standard qualifications (plant tickets, H&S, first aid etc)
