Shift Engineer 

Our client in Ledbury is looking for a shift engineer for our client based in Ledbury. This is a permanent role with excellent progression opportunities and training.

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: £37,800

Shift pattern: Panama

MAIN DUTIES:

• Completion of machine maintenance the agreed schedule and standard.
• Respond to breakdown repairs, working closely with the other Engineers on shift and the Engineering Manager.
• Document all work completed each shift.
• Book out all parts and consumables as used.
• Undertake training where required.
• Develop knowledge of the production processes at Ledbury to assist in fault finding.
• Participate in a risk assessment role across the site.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

Skills and Requirements

• Time served apprentice to NVQ 3 in an engineering discipline.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills is essential.
• PLC and pneumatic knowledge would be advantageous.
• At least 3 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment
• Health & Safety Awareness
• Computer literate.
• A Strong team player.
