The planning and delivery of foodservice projects within the UK and occasionally Europe and other worldwide locations.
This is both an internal and external role.
Internally the candidate will be working with other departments including Sales, Design, Technical Support in the preparation of project delivery plans. Whilst in the office, there will be liaison with the PSD Manager and also the PSD Estimator.
Externally the role will include the site delivery and management of foodservice installations. This would be hand on roll and there would be an expectation for you as part of the team to assist with the movement and positioning of equipment and units.
Foodservice projects include
Catering equipment installations within traditional buildings, tent structures and modular buildings
Portable Kitchen installations comprising modular units from the hire fleet
Catering modular permanent building installations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Take responsibility for the profitable delivery of projects on time and within the agreed budget.
Provide leadership for Company and sub-contract teams in order to facilitate the successful completion of projects on time and in budget
Manage quality issues to ensure that the standards specified by the client are met
Liaise closely with the client on all matters relating with the project.
Work tightly to the contract with the client and ensure that all contractors working for have clear contracts and subsequent written communication. Ensure that any changes or delays by the client result in clear contractual changes and any associated costs are agreed.
If on site, daily progress report back to the PSD Manager.
Maintain a tight grip on costs on a day to day basis.
Work tightly within the client contract and ensure that all contractors working, have clear scopes of work. Ensure that any changes or delays by the client are communicated internally and externally.
Other tasks as requested and described by your manager, from time to time.
Health and Safety
Ensure that all HASAW requirements are met and that HASAW policy is followed.
To always carry out tasks in accordance with any documented risk assessment and safe working practice.
Carry out toolbox talks as necessary.
Ensure that all personnel attending site on behalf of us, sign and understand the method statement.
Ensure that daily signing in sheets are completed by all personnel and contractors.
To set a high standard of personal appearance in all aspects of any project team, to include
Care and use of clothing.
Respect, cleanliness, care and the client’s company property and vehicles
Maintain a clean and tidy site
Technical Qualifications & Required Experience
CSCS competency card as a minimum, mangers card preferred but not essential.
Previous experience of construction sites preferred, site supervision useful but not essential.
Basic computer skills required for communication with office, clients, contractors and suppliers including Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel
Experience in commercial catering operations desirable but not essential
Knowledge of the UK Event Industry desirable but not essential.
Able to supervise and control a small team in a fast moving operational environment

The position is office based, with the requirement to work on site as needed.
Car allowance plus fuel mileage allowance.
