I’m recruiting for a Case Management Team leader to join a successful organisation who specialises in improving mental and physical health in the workplace.
The Role:
To effectively lead, develop and motivate a team of case managers to deliver case management through the interpretation of possible reasons for ill health / injury.
Ensuring the most appropriate intervention needed to reduce the risk of employee absence from work and the need for the employee to undertake modified duties.
Duties
- Demonstrate clear ownership and accountability for the delivery of all team outcomes and client relationships
- Monitor core performance areas and client activity to support the running of the daily operations
- Coach and develop the team, identifying areas of need
- Ensure case managers adopt effective communication skills to discuss ill health/injury empathetically
- Demonstrate confident telephone skills using effective listening and empathy with employees and stakeholders,
- Identify customer journey / process improvement needs
- Build strong working relationships with customers
- To show clear ownership and accountability for the delivery of all team outcomes and client relationships.
- Set an example to the team and ambassador of the company.
The person
- Excellent team management / team leader skills.
- Demonstrate confident telephone skills using effective listening and empathy with employees and stakeholders, covering both inbound and outbound calls.
- A passion for helping people and providing excellent customer service.
- Plan and control activities to meet objectives.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to understand the impact of work on an individual and the impact of ill health on an individual’s ability to work.
- Ability effectively manage workload to meet to deadlines and service standards
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be educated to A-Level and above
- Ideally hold a degree in a relevant subject including psychology, sports therapy, nutrition, physiotherapy, counselling, therapy, health and wellbeing. Or have experience in insurance/case management/occupational health
- An interest in health and wellbeing.
