Team Leader (Warehouse)

Due to an exciting contract, RE Recruitment are looking for Warehouse Team Leaders to work in our clients busy Warehousing and Logistics site based in the Hereford area (Moreton-on-Lugg)

Our client is a leading internet-based sports retail brand and as such is a fast moving, no-stop environment.

Job Detail

The day to day responsibility of our agency Warehouse Operatives and area of operation, in conjunction with MandM Direct Supervisory team including staff KPI’s, leading, motivating and ensuring the smooth running of the department

• Ensure operatives are present on the correct departments as per the planner
• Accurately complete daily registers in a timely manner
• Ensure all agency workers are aware of break times and make sure everyone returns in time
• Flexible for ad hoc marshalling duties required by MandM Direct
• Support with any operation tasks required by MandM direct with occur on shift, e.g mis picks
• Provide feedback to operatives regarding KPI performance and flag any under performance
• Conduct site tours and initial training for new starters,
• Support MandM Direct with any upskilling required of your team
• Ensure our workers abide by MandM Direct H&S procedures
• Identify ways of motivating the team, ensuring praise and recognition is delivered where due
• Maintain high visibility on the shop floor on a daily basis and actively engage with staff
• Deal with staff conflict as and when required, diffusing the situation
• Cover operative functions as required
• Involved in investigations in conjunction with supervisors as and when required
• Attend Team briefings

Pay rate:

Monday – Friday: £12.15 per hour AM shift, £12.88 per hour PM shift, £13.89 per hour NIGHTS

Overtime: £18.22 per hour AM , £18.95 per hour PM , £19.96 per hour NIGHTS

Weekend – : £15.18 per hour AM , £15.91 per hour PM, £16.93 per hour NIGHTS

Hours of work:

We have 6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm and 10:00pm – 6:00am shift rota patterns available based on a 37.5-hour week, working 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday.
