Technical Claims Controller

The client

The role: –

Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of a multi-client team providing Claims handling, claims administration, Reinsurance Recoveries and Technical Reporting services.

Job duties:-

• Management of workload to meet contractual KPI’s
• Provide Technical Insurance support to the Team
• Peer review and quality assurance of Team output
• Chair regular meetings with your team cascading relevant information and following up any outstanding actions to a timely conclusion
• Mentoring of Team Members and identification of successors/ training requirements
• Production of Monthly client reports and representing PCIS at client meetings
• Maintain up-to-date procedure manuals

Candidate Specification:-

• Possess an excellent knowledge of London Market Insurance claims and reinsurance in a Live or Run Off environment with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in claims
• Effective data analysis and interpretation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and with clients
• Able to demonstrate flexibility in the role and effectively manage the conflicting demands of multiple clients
• Minimum 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade ‘C’ and above
• Appropriate management development training
